I’m pretty
sure you must have heard of “la casa de papel”, it´s a Spanish TV Show created
by Álex Pina. It’s a about a group of robbers leaded by “the professor”. He is the
brain of the group, his plan was to gather up the most wanted criminals to
enter the “Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre”, to print their own money. They
enter with red overalls and Dalí masks, once they are in they make all the
hostages dress like them and help them with the plan.
The whole series
is about how they carry out the plan and what they did to solve the problems
they had. Always keeping in mind that the most important thing was to stay inside
as long as possible, so they could make a lot of money.
I love it from
the first chapter up to the last one. I think this is one of the best series
that has come out yet and I can’t wait for the third season. If you haven’t
seen it you should definitely give it a try!
ReplyDeleteOh my God! I love this TV show too much to be true. I feel that the plot of this show is so different from the rest. It's so nice to see something that is not typical.
I think it took me less than a week to see the first two seasons. I was so involved in it that I could not stop watching it.
My mom realized how vitiated I was and she told me that I wanted to start seeing her.
She started watching it like a week ago and she is really enjoying it. She's already in season two.
I really recommend you people to watch it.

I highly recommend to anyone who likes action, romance,thrill and comedy because this series has it all!
What a great show! At first i thought it was a girls show, but when i saw the trailer on netflix y get caught inmediatly and start seeing it right away.
ReplyDeleteThe Plot and everything is so good that you can’t stop watching ( here netflix isn’t helpfull because the next episode starts few seconds after).
In my opinion this is one of best shows i have seen in a while, so i totally recommended to the people that haven’t seen it yet.
Hi berni! I haven't had the oportunity to watch this series and I wasn't really thinking about it because my brother stopped seeing it and told me it wasn't good. But after hearing this other points of view, I will give it a try! Thanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteHi Berni, I agree with you "La casa de papel" is the best series ever!! I love it and I think everyone should definetly give it a try. For example, Tokyo, my favourite character is very intelligent and persistent so many woman feel identified with her so it is not a superficial TV show.

Berni I think "La casa de papel" is one of the bests series I have seen in my life! I finished it in 4 days and i'm expecting the 3rd part to come out quickly!!! I think watching series is a good way to have a nice time!!
ReplyDeleteBerni! I can't agree more with you! I'm not TV person and less a person who watches action series, actually, all my life I have seen the typical teen series about love and stuff. But "la casa de papel" changes everything to me. Since the first episode I was in love with this series. I'm impressed how well done it is made; the way they present you the main characters, the way they made the biggest rob in history and the way they show us how they were planning this for months, and in the case of "the professor", for years. The thing that has shocked me about this series is that they make you be on the side of the robbers, and in the end, you want them to escape with all money they ilegally made without being caught by the police.

I can't stop watching it! It so good. In fact, instead of doing my preu worksheets or studying I watch Money Heist (la casa de papel). Thanks to Alex Pina, my NEM is suffering. Totally worth it though...

ReplyDeleteI Haven't seen the Tv Show yet, but a couple weeks ago my brother was watching it and I decided to sit next to him for about 30 minutes and it is a great Tv Show. I decided not to watch it because I'm sure that I would start watching it every day and the time that I should spend studying I would spend it watching "La Casa De Papel"

This is, by far, one of the most interesting and well-made shows I’ve ever watched. You know these people that brake into the money-printing factory are thieves, therefore, the “bad guys”. Nevertheless, the show makes the viewers feel like they’re in fact the good ones, and you totally end up relating to and supporting them. The plot is well developed, always bringing up the unexpected. The action scenes are excellent, there’s no loose ends, and the whole show is just so good that you can’t stop watching it. It is probably one of my favorites so far.

ReplyDeleteBut an interesting fact is that this serie was originally broadcast on Spanish television and didn’t succeed, but as soon Netflix bought it and transmitted, it gained a lot of viewers.
I really recommended this serie and I can’t wait to watch season three.
I am personally not interested in this show because, even though the topic is important, we are not “doing” anything to prevent things like these from happening. It’s merely another TV production. We are just watching a show, with a hard-to-deal-with topic, but I am sure there are no discussions or reflections being made from it. Now, back to the question, I am sure the suicide scene is not something we have never seen in movies before. Again, the only difference for people feeling awkward or offended is the sensitive topic itself. I do not disagree with the producers having that included in the show at all. Wrong audience having access to the show is a totally different discussion.
