If you have watched the news you are probably already concerned about the contamination that has been taking over Quintero, a commune in Valparaiso. There are a lot of industries near Quintero and today people from Quintero are suffering probably one of the worst incidents coming out from the industries since a long time ago. No one is really sure which of the industries is causing this environmental crisis but the government has already declared that the state has failed and the problem must be solved as soon as possible. Over three hundred people have already been intoxicated, the crisis is nicknamed as a "toxic cloud". There is a romour that probably "ENAP" is the industry responsible for the crisis, but it has not been confirmed. So I got some questions for you classmates, ¿Which industries do you think are responsible for this tragedy? ¿Do you think people should begin to leave the commune of Quintero and look for a better place to live?, or ¿industries near Quintero should stop working?

Good post. I also wachted the news and i thing that is not posible that with all the contamination in our country and in the entire world there are still industries that are contaminating the emviroment. I think in this case the ENAP is full responsable of this. Also i think people need to leaved quinteros for a period of time because is very dangerouos for the people and more for the kids. I think all industries on that area have to close in order to have a better life in Quinteros
